Join Allen County SWCD for our Spring Field Day focused on Small Farms!

Experts in all things conservation will focus discussions on practices that impact the small farm producer as they seek to increase yield and preserve natural resources.

Specific topics include programs explained through the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) on Regenerative Agriculture and Livestock Partnership, Soil Biology, Cover Cropping, and Composting.

Activities include soil microscopy, cover crop field walk, and vendors in the Old Barn, as well as contact with pollinator, rain gardens, and animals resident at Salomon Farm!  Lunch and afternoon desserts are included.
