Rural Agriculture Programs and Projects

The On-Farm Demo Project is an agreement across six counties; Allen, Adams, Dekalb, Noble, Steuben and Wells to establish demonstration farms across the Western Lake Erie Basin. Demonstration farms showcase the implementation of conservation practices such as cover crop planting and no/reduced till to protect soil and water quality. Partnering agencies such as NRCS help with technical and financial assistance to help create effective management plans.
